Hypnosis training 2025: live, online or hybrid

Your path to OMNI certification
Thinking about becoming a hypnotherapist? You are not alone. Demand for qualified hypnotherapists keeps growing, in medicine, coaching, psychotherapy, and elite sports. And getting started has never been more flexible than it is today.
At OMNI Hypnosis International, you have three paths to certification in 2025. Each one leads to the same qualification. Which one suits you depends on your life, your learning style, and your schedule.
Path 1: the live intensive training
Eight days. Morning to evening. Everything included. The live intensive is the original format, the one Gerald F. Kein and Hansruedi Wipf used to train thousands of hypnotherapists.
You learn in a group of like-minded people, practice on real cases, watch live demonstrations, and get immediate feedback. The advantage: complete immersion. After eight days, you leave as a Certified OMNI Hypnotherapist, with the knowledge and confidence to start working with clients right away.
Live training is offered in several countries, in Europe and in the USA.
Path 2: the online training
Not everyone can take eight days off in a row. That is why OMNI offers the complete training online, with professionally filmed video lessons, interactive exercises, and personal guidance from certified OMNI instructors.
You learn at your own pace, from anywhere. The online platform is available around the clock. And here is the key point: the qualification is identical to the live training. A Certified OMNI Hypnotherapist is a Certified OMNI Hypnotherapist, no matter which path you choose.
Path 3: the hybrid approach
Want the advantages of both? Start online and go deeper live, or the other way around. The hybrid approach lets you work through the theoretical foundations at your own pace and then experience four days of practical training in a group.
What you will learn
Whichever path you choose, the content is the same. You learn the core techniques of OMNI hypnotherapy: the Elman induction, deepening techniques, suggestion work, and above all “Regress to Cause (R2C) & Fix it,” the heart of the OMNI method. On top of that come specialized techniques such as HypnoWaving, HypnoParts, and protocols for anxiety, pain, habits, and much more.
By the end of the training, you have a complete manual, flowcharts, and step-by-step instructions you can use in your practice from day one.
Who is the training for?
For anyone who is serious about working with people: physicians, psychologists, coaches, therapists, nurses, and career changers looking for a new direction. No prior experience in hypnosis is required.
Today, OMNI trains in several countries. More than 2,000 hypnotherapists hold the OMNI certification, and the community grows with every course.
The difference: results, not theories
What sets OMNI apart from other hypnosis training programs fits into three words: clarity, structure, results. The method has been refined over decades, from Dave Elman through Gerald F. Kein to Hansruedi Wipf. Every step is intentional, and every technique has been tested in practice.
Hansruedi Wipf puts it simply: “Change should not just be understood in theory, but truly experienced and made usable in practice.” Graduates confirm this again and again. Many report working successfully with clients the very day after they finish the training.
Your next step
Whether you want a career as a hypnotherapist, want to expand your existing practice, or simply need a tool that works, OMNI hypnosis training is where it starts.
