Privacy
The German version is legally binding. German version
1. What is this privacy policy about?
This privacy policy applies to the websites hypnose.net and hypnosis.info (English version) of OMNI Hypnosis International. It explains which personal data we process when you visit the sites, fill in a form, register for a webinar, write to a hypnotherapist through the Omnifinder or chat with AdrianAI. It says why we do this, who receives the data and what rights you have.
It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The OMNI Academy (www.omnihypnosis.com), where you book courses and learn, has its own privacy policy.
2. Who is responsible for processing your data?
Hypnose.net GmbH (OMNI Hypnosis International)
Weiherweg 8
8604 Volketswil
Switzerland
Phone: +41 76 430 75 01
Email: office@omnihypnosis.com
For questions about data protection and to exercise your rights, write to this address.
3. Which data do we process?
We mainly process data you give us yourself. In addition, technical data arises when you visit the site.
- Technical data: for example IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and device. It arises with every visit.
- Contact data: name, email address and, if you provide it, phone number.
- Details from forms: for example your message, your occupation, your answers in the positioning check or your details in an application.
- Communication data: messages to us, messages to hypnotherapists in the Omnifinder and your questions to AdrianAI.
- Marketing data: for example which webinars and topics you registered for and whether you open our emails.
- Usage data, only with your consent: how you use the site and which ad brought you here.
Please do not send us health data or other confidential details that we do not need for your enquiry.
4. For what purposes do we process your data?
- to answer your enquiries and advise you;
- to handle webinars, the free trial access, the positioning check and applications for OMNI Prime Mentoring;
- to pass your message through the Omnifinder to the hypnotherapist;
- to send you information on trainings, further trainings and webinars if you wish;
- to run, protect and improve the site;
- with your consent, to measure how the site is used and to measure and tailor advertising;
- to meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
5. On what basis do we process your data?
Depending on the purpose, we rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), on entering into or performing a contract (point b), on legal obligations (point c) or on our legitimate interest, for example in a secure, working site and in answering enquiries (point f). Under the FADP we process personal data in line with the principles of Art. 6 FADP. Where a justification is needed, we rely on your consent, a contract or our overriding interest (Art. 31 FADP).
You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Processing up to the withdrawal remains lawful.
6. Is there profiling or automated decision-making?
We group contacts by interest, for example by the topic of a webinar, so that you receive suitable information. With your consent we analyse how the site is used. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. AdrianAI's answers are a first orientation, not a decision.
7. Who do we disclose your data to?
We work with service providers who process data on our behalf. Data processing agreements apply with them. We do not sell personal data.
- Running and protecting the website: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA).
- Contacts and emails: ActiveCampaign, LLC (USA).
- Webinars: Zoom Communications, Inc. (USA).
- Statistics and advertising, only with your consent: Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) and Google LLC (USA).
- Videos: YouTube, Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) and Google LLC (USA), only once you play a video.
- Chat assistant AdrianAI: Render Services, Inc. (USA) for operation, jsDelivr for delivering the chat program and an artificial intelligence provider for the answers.
- Orders and payment: CheckoutJoy with the payment provider Stripe (Ireland, USA). You order courses through the order form on the course pages. Your order and payment details go to CheckoutJoy and Stripe, not to this website. Online courses and your account are in the OMNI Academy (www.omnihypnosis.com), where its privacy notice applies.
- Omnifinder: the hypnotherapist you write to receives your name, your email address and your message and replies to you directly.
- Authorities and courts, if we are obliged to do so.
8. Is your data transferred abroad?
Some service providers are based in the USA or process data there. For providers certified under the Swiss-U.S. or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the level of data protection is considered adequate. Otherwise we base the transfer on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission with the adjustments for Switzerland.
9. How long do we keep your data?
- Contact requests and applications: until they are dealt with and then at most two years, unless they lead to a training or an order.
- Contacts for emails: until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.
- Messages through the Omnifinder: we do not store them.
- Technical logs: a few days.
- Conversations with AdrianAI: at most twelve months.
- Booking and invoice data: for the statutory retention period, in Switzerland ten years.
10. How do we protect your data?
All pages and forms use an encrypted connection. Only people who need access to personal data for their work have it. We back up our systems regularly and protect access additionally. There is no absolute security on the internet, but we keep our measures up to date with the state of the art.
11. What are your rights?
You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and its release in a common format. You can object to processing, in particular to processing for advertising at any time. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in every email. For everything else, write to office@omnihypnosis.com. We may ask for proof of your identity.
You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch), in the EU with the authority where you live or work.
12. Do we use cookies, statistics and advertising?
On your first visit, a banner asks whether, in addition to what is essential, we may measure how the site is used (statistics) and measure and tailor advertising (advertising). Without your consent we set no cookies for this. We store your choice in an essential cookie for twelve months. You can change it at any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
For statistics and advertising we use Google services (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager). Google may also process this data for its own purposes. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Functions that protect against attacks and automated access are also essential. Your browser stores some details locally, for example the history of your conversation with AdrianAI. YouTube videos only load when you click "Play". You can delete cookies and local data in your browser at any time.
13. What applies to our pages on social networks?
We are present on social networks, for example YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. The privacy policies of those providers also apply there. This website does not embed any social network functions that transmit data as soon as a page opens. Links to these services only open them when you click.
14. Can this privacy policy change?
Yes. We adapt it when the site or the services we use change. The version published here applies.
