History

Past, present, future

The OMNI story in four milestones.

  1. 1979

    Gerald F. Kein founds OMNI in Florida.

    The name, suggested by Gerald Kein’s wife, soon stood for modern, goal-oriented hypnotherapy that gets results: short sessions with concrete outcomes, easy to learn and effective.

  2. 2012 to 2015

    Handover to Hansruedi Wipf.

    For almost three years, “Jerry” Kein prepared him to lead OMNI, sealed with a handshake and announced at the hypnosis convention in Boston in 2012. Hansruedi Wipf set his own priorities: the ISO 9001 certification and the HypnoScience® project are two of them.

  3. Since 2013

    Adrian Brüngger joins as co-owner and CEO.

    A coach and trainer, and former head coach of the Pfadi Winterthur handball club. He works with top athletes such as Simon Ehammer, Samuel Giger and Kalle Koblet. Over the years, the international team of OMNI instructors has grown.

  4. 2023

    The University of Zurich study.

    Independent scientists show that hypnosis is visible and measurable in the brain and that at least two distinct states exist. The OMNI hypnosis induction used in the study is the same one you learn in the training.
